To open an account with OpenMarkets, we require the following identification documentation from overseas customers:
- A certified copy of a Passport
- A certified copy of a foreign Driver's Licence OR national identity OR birth certificate
- An original copy (or certified copy) of a utility bill displaying your residential address (no more than 3 months' old)
For other acceptable forms of international ID, please refer to the Appendix of any OpenMarkets application form.
Please note - we cannot accept a 'copy of a certified copy'. The certified copy must show the original stamp and signature of the certifier.'
Translation of identification documents (if non-English)
All identification documents in a language other than English will need to be translated by a NAATI recognised translator.
